Mary-Kate Not a Ravenous Eater, After All
Surprise, surprise. Mary-Kate Olsen, the "skinny and mean" half of the Olsen twins, who turned eighteen last weekend, has entered a psychiatric facility for the treatment of what is generally thought to be anorexia. MK, who has been photographed extensively with her rib-cage sticking out, and showing other tell-tale symptoms of the disorder has been refuting reports to the effect that she has an eating disorder for months now. Meanwhile, Ashley -- sometimes known as the "fat and nice one" --is celebrating the news by dancing around her multi-million dollar Village loft, in her underwear, singing "Hail, Hail the wicked witch is dead!" as she gorges on fried chicken and Krispy Kreme. Lately there have also been whispers about Mary-Kate's cocaine use, adding to the assumption that she is one fucked up sixty-million dollar piece of ass. (Reuters)
Just look at how repulsed she looks by the food on the table. Maybe it was engineered photo-op to show that, like most size 0s she "eats whatever she wants." Which, of course, is nothing (the part they never tell you.)

Unfortunately, the cocaine part is true... and she was entered into a facility by her dad. Can we all say how lucky she is to have a dad who cares enough to do this instead of "oh - that's Hollywood for you".

Actually, I met them about 4 years ago, and they are both really nice - MK more so than Ashley. They treated all the children around them (who, by the way, would have driven me crazy) with such sweetness and genuine caring. By the way, neither one of them is fat - they probably have never weighed over 100 lbs. It is a sad situation, whether it's an eating disorder or cocaine. I feel sorry for her, and truly hope she gets the helps she needs with whatever the problem may be. Thank goodness her dad cares enough about her to get her some help.

I find MK to be one of the most beautiful and brave teenage stars out there. She is living my dream (NYU, thinness...) and I find it rather insulting to read your rude comments. Having different points of view is wonderful, but could you at least have the decency to keep your thoughts to things that have actual data to back it up?

I cant belive Mary kate is on coke and has anorexia. she was my role model all my life i cant belive she would do something that could change everybodies lives. next thing we know 20 people start doing coke because there role models did! thank the heavens ashelys not ethier and im really sad about mary kate and wish her well!
